CMC-CH controls channel parameters operated on Cubase. Touch controller function provides catch and jump style control over fader allowing the user shift control in 1,024 steps.

CMC-FD can manipulate 4 channels of Cubase level fader, which is expanded to 16 channels when up to 4 units are connected.

CMC-QC provides quick channel, MIDI change and 4-band EQ parameter control capabilities by 8 knobs with 3 modes.

CMC-PD is most suitable for entering drum voice. Rich functions of Cubase are assignable to individual pads for instant recall of the voices. The touch-sensitive pads grow light in different colors responding to striking intensity. Sixteen velocity curves are also provided.

CMC-TP features locater/marker/track duplication buttons in addition to recording/playback/stop functions. Touch control function is also provided to assign any function from jog, shuttle, locate, scroll, zoom to touch tempo.

Casio Supports Save Northeastern Japan Charity Concert

World Children's Fund Japan, non-profit organization, and Uminadeshiko, marine leisure promotion coouncil staged Chika Edanami Charity Concert sponsored by Casio Computer at the large guest house of Enkakuji, a famous temple in historical Kamakura, on September 4.

Casio supported the artists, Chika Edanami, violin and Michika Kuwao, piano providing PX-735, the latest model of the Privia digital piano line.

About 150 audiences enjoyed Edward Elgar's Chanson de Nuit, Chanson de Matin and other pieces at the serene large guest house where memorial service and sit in Zen meditation usually take place.

The proceeds (¥3,000 per person) were sent to The Nippon Foundation Northeastern Japan Eathquake and Tsunami Relief Fund.

Casio donated two PX-735s to Enkakuji to be used for music programs at the temple and affiliated Kita-kamakura Kindergarten.

Seiko Sports Life carried first Northern Japan Earthquake/Tsunami Support program from September 2 to October 31, distributing 3 types of DM50, DM70 and DM100 digital metronome (¥2,500, ¥2,700 and ¥3,300 retail, respectively) . The company donates part of the sales of these products during the period to 'School Music Revival' project that was launched to save school music activities in the hardest hit area.

Kaishindo Music Store in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Pref. is contributing to the 'School Music Revival' endowing ¥1,000 per stuffed bunny, the store's original character sold at ¥4,200. The company has already donated a total of ¥200,780 raised at the store front to the project.

It allows the user to add effects on selected song parts and apply noise reduction with one single control of the slider.

Music is played back in any speed levels between 50% and 130%, and pitch can be adjusted independently in the range of plus, minus 12 by half note step.

The SONAR X1c PRODUCER has further upgraded with built-in advanced step sequencer and loop construction view. The SONAR X1 EXPANDED provides custom ProChannel strips, SoundCloud and Music XML exports. The POWER STUDIO line bundled with USB audio interface has been also upgraded. The OCTA comes bundled with OCTA-CAPTURE 10 inputs, 10 outputs USB interface with an 8-line VS Preamp.

While, the QUAD comes complete with QUAD-CAPTURE 4 inputs, 4 outputs USB interface with a 2-line VS Preamp suitable for beginners.

The latest version packages designed for entry-level user are offered with easy-to-understand interface borrowed from the SONAR X1 series, basic functions for music production, ready-to-use software sound engines, effects, and a video user manual.

They provide 3,000 loop phrases and 1,000 kits, more than 1,300 voices produced by 4 software sound engines, and 11 plug-in effects.

The stand-alone video editing package consisted of an EC-1 controller, software and royalty-free image data, movie clips and music data supports diversified video processing works from hobby, business to education without special knowledge.

Taking technological advantage of the DV-7DL digital video workstation, the software is characterized for intuitive image processing with 10 style templates. Other functions include Titler to provide text to picture image, and rich effects.

The EC-1 controller has a built-in microphone, time line zoom fader, jog dial to find desired frames, and shuttle ring for fast send/rewind image data.

It works on Windows 7 SP1, Vista SP2 and after versions.

With one individual built-in omni-directional and directional stereo microphones and two external mic inputs, a pair of XLR/TRS analog inputs with 48V phantom power for external mics, and an input for a stereo mini plug-in powered mic, it provides 6-channel simultaneous recording capability to suit a variety of situations from speeches to field capture simply by choosing simultaneous combinations of the built-in mics and the external inputs.
